K9 Conditioning Workshop

A 3-hour workshop designed to deepen your knowledge of your dog’s physical structure, work your dog in a group setting, as well as receive 1-on-1 guidance on how to create a conditioning program for your dog as the fall and winter seasons approach. Incorporating a daily conditioning program into your dog’s life helps prevent unwanted injuries, keeps their core strong to support balance and mobility and helps them to age gracefully and keep enjoying all that you love to do together.

Our workshop will begin with a warm up for your dog with the group, followed by each dog team having a chance to work individually, looking at your dog’s unique structure, discussing your goals and creating a conditioning plan specifically for your dog. You will also have the opportunity to see other dogs work, gaining knowledge about many different dogs and exercises to add to your growing canine conditioning tool box.

This workshop is open to dogs of all ages and levels. It is helpful if your dog has worked in a group setting with other dogs and knows basic obedience. Previous attendance in K9 Conditioning class is helpful but, not a requirement. Dogs must be social or neutral with other dogs and people to attend. If you have a reactive dog, we are happy to discuss private sessions and other programs to support your dog outside of a group setting or you may choose an audit spot. We are offering working and audit spots. For a working spot, you bring your dog and actively work your dog during the workshop, first in a group setting then individually. While other dogs are working your dog will rest, this can be calmly and quietly with you, in a crate provided in the space or in your vehicle, wherever they are most comfortable. For an audit spot, your dog stays home and you bring the knowledge you learn home to work with them.

*WORKING SPOTS SOLD OUT. Audit spots available. Join our waitlist for a working spot, email info@taodogwellness.com

Working spot, $125 (includes tax, fees). We are limiting working spots to 5 teams.

Audit spot, $55 (includes tax, fees).

*Cancellation Policy: Drop-in classes, monthly offerings and workshops are non-refundable. Should you find you are unable to attend, if we are able to fill your spot, we will credit you for a future offering at the same value.

Dog Yoga & Mandala Ornament Workshop

Celebrate the holiday season with your dog! Our 3-hour workshop will begin with an interactive yoga practice for you and your dog, led by Stef Corbeil, followed by a creative session of making mandala paw print ornaments with Amy Crose of Mandala Minds & Wellness. Enjoy a relaxing yoga session during the busy holiday season, tap into your creative side and enjoy hot cocoa & dessert refreshments. Dogs are on leash during our workshop. Dogs must be social or neutral with people and other dogs to attend.

A few words from Amy Crose,

In January 2020, my life unraveled. In the midst of the pain, I found an unexpected thread of healing. Mandala painting became my refuge - a meditative, healing practice that helped me make sense of my grief, calm my nervous system, and slowly reclaim joy. It gave me something the healthcare and psychiatric system could not, a sense of wholeness. I founded Mandala Minds & Wellness to bring this healing practice to others who feel disconnected, overwhelmed , or lost. My mission is to fill that gap, empowering others to reconnect with their authentic selves and experience the peace, wholeness, and growth they deserve.

Dog Yoga & Mandala Ornament Workshop Experience: $95 (includes taxes & fees). Limited spots available.

*Cancellation Policy: Drop-in classes, monthly offerings and workshops are non-refundable. Should you find you are unable to attend, if we are able to fill your spot, we will credit you for a future offering at the same value.
